About Masters Workouts


Masters Workout Times:

Your Masters monthly membership gives you access to all 6 weekly workouts. Workouts alternate from short course (25 yards) to long course (50 meters): 

Morning: 

Mon/Fri: 6:00-7:00 AM long course
Wed: 6:00-7:00 AM
short course
Sun: 8:30-10AM long course

Evening: All workouts are short course 

T/Th: 5:30-6:45 PM

Drop in fee for long course is $7 for non-members. Please pay Coach O'Brien directly upon arrival to workout.

What to Expect:

Workouts are between 60 minutes and range from 3000 to 3600 yards. Each workout begins with a warm-up set, a main set and a warm-down. They include pulling (with a pull buoy and hand paddles, if desired), and kicking (with fins, if desired). 

What to Bring to Workouts:

Kick boards and pull buoys are available to use at the Petaluma Swim Center. Swimmers wishing to use fins or hand paddles must bring their own.

The Petaluma swim center has hot showers. There are no lockers, towels, or toiletries. We recommend that you bring a towel and whatever toiletries you wish. Shower shoes or flip-flops are encouraged. Please do not leave your valuables in the locker room.
